These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Oria mobile application ("the App") and its related services ("the Service"), published by Oria. By using the Service, you accept these Terms.
Oria is a learning-support application for students. It provides:
Using the Service requires creating an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under your account.
Oria offers a free plan with daily usage limits on some features (flashcards, quizzes, sheets, etc.).
The Oria+ subscription unlocks every feature without limits. Subscriptions are available monthly or yearly.
On Apple devices (iPhone, iPad), payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchases. Apple's billing, renewal and refund terms apply. You can manage your subscription in your Apple device settings.
On Android, payments are processed by Google through Google Play Billing. Google Play's billing, renewal and refund terms apply. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from Google Play → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage your subscription from the Pricing page of the App.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. The amount is charged through the payment channel used at subscription (Apple, Google Play or Stripe).
A free trial may be offered on a first subscription. At the end of the trial period, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled before the end of the trial. Only one free trial is granted per account and per store.
Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen (14) days from subscribing on the web to withdraw, without having to give any reason. Simply email support@useoria.com from your account address. The refund is made to the payment method used at subscription, no later than fourteen (14) days after we receive your request. A free trial can also be cancelled at any time before it ends, free of charge. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple's and Google's refund terms.
The App, its source code, design, algorithms and editorial content are the exclusive property of Oria. You retain ownership of your content (courses, notes, imported documents). By using the Service, you grant Oria a limited licence to process your content for the sole purpose of providing the Service.
Flashcards, sheets, quizzes and other content generated by artificial intelligence are provided as learning aids. They do not replace teaching. Oria does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or relevance of generated content.
If generated content seems inaccurate, inappropriate or offensive, you can report it from the Android app ("Report" action) or by email at support@useoria.com. Reports are reviewed and used to improve filters and generation instructions. Using the Service to try to generate unlawful, hateful or harmful content is prohibited.

You can delete your account at any time from the App settings. Deletion results in the permanent, irreversible loss of all your data (subjects, chapters, notes, flashcards, progress, etc.). A subscription purchased on the web is cancelled automatically. A subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled from the relevant store (Apple or Google); deleting the account alone does not stop its renewal. You can also request deletion at useoria.com/delete-account.
The Service is provided "as is". Oria cannot be held liable for:
Oria reserves the right to modify these Terms. In case of a substantial change, users will be informed through the App. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Oria reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account in case of a breach of these Terms, with prior notice where possible.
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before bringing the matter before the competent courts.
